With editions in vinyl Brigade Commerz gains new ground and uses the 12 inch picture disc to combine the power of a graphic edition with the intensity of sounds.
The series starts with Liam Gillick and Corinne Jones who have collaborated to produce four new tracks. Digital files were exchanged between the two artists over a period of weeks and the final mixes were produced together. Gillick's music has previously been released on the Whatness, En/Off and Semishigure labels in Germany. In addition to her work as an artist Jones is the founding member of the critically acclaimed group from New York, EFFI BRIEST. Their debut full length, Rhizomes was recently released on Sacred Bones in the US and Blast First Petite in the UK.
