He became known through record covers for Black Flag and Sonic Youth. Since the end of the 1970s, the artist Raymond Pettibon has played a decisive role in shaping the look of American punk. A little later he also began writing and making video films. Pettibon showed this less known part of his work at a performance in New York in November. Together with friends and longtime companions he read from his texts and scripts.

An independent radio composition by Raymond Pettibon and Oliver Augst will be presented on 29 December at 6.30 pm as a first broadcast in the radio play: "What we know is secret".
